A woman should be able to drive a stick shift, fire a Springfield Arms XD accurately, do the family tax return, throw a football 20 yards, and barbecue steaks. However, when men are around, she should allow men to do things for her, even if she can do them better herself. Men should always be asked to do dangerous tasks (shoveling snow, killing spiders, etc.), and they should never be criticized about their performance in front of other people, only in private.
I finally figured out how to use the gallery function on WordPress. This should be interesting. The photos are not in any particular order. I will have to deal with that problem another time. Enjoy.

Chivalry is a boy-word for doing the right thing in the right circumstances. It’s as patriarchal as the pigeon splattered statues of yesterday’s war-mongering classes in the park.
To each calling there is a custom. If one is lining up for a life-boat, that’s probably not the time to make a big issue out of it
The Norwich Bulletin, as of this posting, has placed the friars latest video on Thom and Marc on their homepage in three parts. This video altogether is about 12 minutes and is different than the In Memoriam video.

I have been out of circulation in the blogosphere due to preparations for the Encampment and recovery from it. My plan was to make sure that the Encampment was at least as successful as it has been in the past with Thom’s direction and to make sure that we remembered our departed friends in a fitting way. I think we succeeded.
I have much to blog on regarding the Encampment. I will get it posted as I am able.
First of all, I have an oath that the Knights asked me to write for the squires and pages. Actually the idea was Thom’s and he had planned to write it himself.
